I was contracted for a project in 2015 with Gray Ghost acting as creative lead and user interface designer Andy Staple of Staple Web Design for a new startup in New York called Murmuration Malts. My role was brand identity designer to develop all the visual elements for the new business.
So What is a murmuration? Its a flock up birds twisting and turning as a group while they fly. The business called themselves this because in the fields near where they work red wing blackbirds flock like this in the fall. They liked the name and decided to use the red wing blackbird as their logo for their malt business.
